An accumulation of projects conducted under academic and personal domain.

Quantum Electrodynamics (QED)

A research paper diving into the theory of Quantum Electrodynamics (QED): the strange theory of light and matter.

Multi-Sensor NI MyRIO Weather Station

A Researched, designed and constructed a LabVIEW program using multiple sensors to obtain temperature and light values to inform a user of the current and previous hours’ weather conditions.

Sunflower Power

I designed and constructed a device influenced by the concept of a “smart flower” for my electronics final projects. The report on it is called sunflower power. It’s a self-powered, completely green energy solar tracker. Meaning it moves and follows the light in order to optimize solar input. This entire device powers itself, the implemented solar tracking Arduino-based components, and recharges using solar power also, and charges any USB device with 5 volts of electricity.  Though the project was successful, there are several aspects that can be improved:

-the pan-tilt can be reinforced with a stronger material.
-the charging capabilities can be increased only with a system in place for safety
-the recharging capabilities can be automated so current can vary on the battery’s charge and so it can fill my charge within 20 hours with increases current or safely lie at a trickle current that will safely supply without the battery die
-in addition to several other improvements that can be made

I highly encourage interested parties to take a moment to review my report and analysis in review of making and improving this device.

Heat Shield Materials

A study into the progression from the use of Beryllium to Phenolic Impregnated Carbon Ablator in application to thermal protection systems for atmospheric reentry vehicles.
